- This study is a randomized control trial. This means you will be assigned into one of the two groups by chance. You do not get to choose which group you will be part of.
In order to participate in this study you must answer YES to at least two of the three following questions:
In the past two weeks have you
- felt at all sad or depressed?
- felt anxious or worried about the future?
- had trouble managing your feelings?
If you answered NO to more than one question, you are not eligible for this study and we thank you for your time.
- You may participate in this study if you meet the following eligibility criteria:
- You are a women with breast cancer 50 years or younger living in BC or the Yukon
- It has been within three years since you were diagnosed with an invasive breast cancer
- You have completed chemotherapy, radiation or surgery
- You have internet access and are comfortable with computers
- You are able to schedule uninterrupted time to participate in the chats and do the coping skill homework (2.5 hrs per week for 10 weeks)
